Transport info on the go for cellphone users

A new web-based mobile service called MyTransport.SG was launched by the Land Transport Authority (LTA). It consolidates all the information that can be found on LTA’s various websites.

This includes information from its OneMotoring website for car owners and PublicTransport@SG website targeted at bus and train commuters.

Through the new service, drivers can check the traffic situation on expressways, find out if there are any available parking spaces in shopping centres or check traffic flow by way of traffic cameras.

To use the services, smartphone users can log on to the MyTransport.SG website through the phone browser. The information is free but regular data charges apply.

The LTA would phase out its other mobile services that duplicate this information.
